After a few months of suffering with the terrible sound of the factory system in the new truck, I have decided it’s time to upgrade the stereo system. Please, check out the threads in the audio/stereo section. 2009 - 2014 Ford F150 - 2013 XLT Crew Stereo Upgrade - I recently upgraded from my 2008 XL regular cab to a 2013 XLT Super Crew. Fasten and pull side panels including the a/c vents off the radio trim panel. Please note that it is not necessary to remove the panels completely. ![]() It allows you to add an amp, or two, and a sub, and replace the factory speakers and to have them all work together using steering wheel controls, or even your new 4" screen in the center stack. 3.Fasten and pull side panels including the a/c vents off the radio trim panel. As an example, if your radio goes out, that obviously has nothing to do with. Their website says its good till 2012, but again, check out the thread on the PAC-frd 24 and you should find if anyone has used it in their 2013. I used the PAC adapter which is the important part to keep sync and stock deck from 2009? - 2012, without the navigation system or Sony amplified system Like the one you have, right?(or are looking to get) If this adapter cuts off at 2012, then I'm mistaken and I apologize, otherwise you're welcome for the help. ![]()
